THE Modern Dance Co. was founded in 2017 with a mission to celebrate the human experience through artistic collaboration, professional performance opportunities, and community outreach in the performing arts. The company resides in Toledo, Ohio - a place its co-founders have called home for over 30 years. THE Modern Dance Company is parent to THE2 - which invites developing artists ages 13-18 to experience pre-professional life in Toledo’s artistic community.
